To be a woman in Kashmir means living through conflict every day, while trying to have a normal life. Mehnaz is from the “generation of conflict” Kashmiris who have never lived in total peace. Despite their unprecedented loss and pain, Kashmiri women have never lost their spirits. They brace for challenges every day while keeping up with life.
