Hamas offered to release at least 50 hostages for five-day truce

US President Joe Biden has confirmed that a deal is close that could see the release of some of the over 200 hostages currently being held in Gaza by Hamas. The agreement would reportedly see women and children handed over to Israel in exchange for a pause in fighting in Gaza. TRT World’s Joel Flynn has more.
