Mexican salt farmers defying time
Mexico is one of the world's top producers of salt. Most of it's done industrially, in large areas near the coast. But indigenous farmers in the desert hills of central Mexico are preserving an ancestral tradition of making artisanal salt that goes back at least 2,000 years.
