South Africa to ban captive lion breeding for hunting

South Africa is set to ban the breeding of captive lions and encourage the repurposing of lodges to phase out this controversial, but lucrative, industry. Many lions bred and kept in captivity suffer, with some killed as trophies, drawing anger from animal rights groups and conservationists. Kubra Akkoc has the story.
