TRNC celebrates Peace and Freedom Day
Both the Turkish and Turkish Cypriot presidents have reiterated their calls for a two-state solution in Cyprus. They made the comments on the 50th anniversary of the peace operation launched by the Turkish military, in response to attacks by the EOKA terrorist organisation. Our diplomatic correspondent Andrew Hopkins reports from Lefkosa.
