Typhoon Gaemi batters Manila with winds of 240 kph
The Philippines capital Manila has been placed under a state of disaster, as Typhoon Gaemi batters the metropolitan area with heavy rain and floods. Flights have been cancelled, landslides reported and evacuations are under way as the death toll and number of people missing continue to rise. Emily Angwin has the latest from Manila.
