Brits Explode After Murder Of Little Girls
Violent protests and riots in Britain since the stabbing of 11 little girls in Southport have been labelled both ‘far-right’ and ‘anti-immigration’. The new Labour Prime Minister has pledged to crack down hard on what he called “far-right thugs”, but is also accused of being softer on non-white communities when they cause trouble. On Nexus this week historian Rafe Heydel-Mankoo, deputy editor of Spiked Fraser Myers, former political editor of the Sunday Mirror Nigel Nelson, and muslim community spokesman Musharraf Hussein, debate what’s really driving the unrest, and whether the government is targeting the right people.
