Israel sends a team to ceasefire talks while approving an imminent operation against Rafah.
Israel's cabinet had decided to send a negotiating team to Doha to participate in talks to reach a ceasefire agreement in Gaza. The move came after Israel approved a plan for a major military operation in Rafah, where 1.4 million displaced Palestinians are based.
