Three people have been killed and 11 others wounded in Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Kiev and Kharkiv regions, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service said on Tuesday.
In the Kiev region, Russian forces struck a production and storage building in the Obukhiv district, killing three people and wounding six others, the service said.
The strike triggered a fire that was later extinguished, while rescue workers continued clearing rubble, it added.
In the northeastern Kharkiv region, five people were wounded in a drone attack on the city of Izium, according to the service.
Russian strikes on logistics infrastructure
Separately, Russia’s defence ministry said its forces had struck Ukrainian logistics and port infrastructure, as well as cargo vessels it alleged were transporting military and dual-use supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces.
The ministry said the targets included a logistics centre in Khmelnytskyi, a transport and logistics centre in Kovel in the Volyn region, and three cargo vessels unloading supplies at the port of Reni in the Odessa region.
It also claimed Russian forces had struck a cargo vessel carrying military supplies to Ukraine as it sailed towards the port of Odessa.
The ministry further said Russian air defences had intercepted and destroyed 136 Ukrainian drones across 15 Russian regions overnight.
