Basra's art revival | On Stage | Showcase
The first new theatre since the start of the Iraq War has been inaugurated in the country's southern city of Basra. It includes five cinemas and two ice skating rinks and is a place where creative people are encouraged to develop their ideas. And many hope it will bring an artistic breath of fresh air, to a wounded city.
