Paris Floods: French capital going through extreme flooding
The river Seine continues to rise in central Paris, where weeks of heavy rain have left the water table saturated and pushed the river up to four metres above its normal level. Riverside roads and railway lines are closed, boat traffic is banned, and the Louvre museum has closed a lower gallery. Elena Casas reports.
