UN says withdrawal timeline from Mali 'dangerous, unprecedented'
The UN has announced the beginning of the withdrawal of more than 15,000 peacekeepers from Mali. The ruling military junta demanded the troops leave by the end of the year, saying they failed to end a Daesh-led insurgency that's killed thousands of people, including 300 peacekeepers.
