At least three dead as heavy rainfall triggers flooding in Spain
At least three people have died and several others are missing as record rainfall has caused heavy flooding in Spain. Streets in parts of the country have been turned into rivers of mud – and in the capital Madrid residents have been urged to stay indoors – as the national weather agency issued a maximum red alert. Yasmine El-Sabawi reports.
