US Strikes Multiple Targets in Syria and Iraq, Citing Alleged Affiliation with Iran-Backed Militias
US President Joe Biden said retaliatory American air strikes that began on targets in Iraq and Syria - allegedly linked to Iran-backed militias - "will continue". The US avoided targets in Iran itself, but the 30 minutes of air strikes that, according to Washington, have severely degraded Iran's pipeline of military aid.
