The pro-Irish republican party Sinn Fein’s Michelle O’Neill recently became the first nationalist First Minister of Northern Ireland. The British-ruled province saw decades of sectarian violence followed by a fractious peace. So could a reunified Ireland finally be within touching distance, or does it remain a pipe dream?
