Africa Matters: Uganda signs railway deal with Turkish firm
Many African countries have poor transport networks, making it expensive and challenging to move people and goods. In Uganda, the government has partnered with a Turkish company to build a 272-kilometre electric railway system that could boost the economy and connect the landlocked country to the region.
