Contract allowing transit of gas via Ukraine to Europe expires
As of 2025, the flow of Russian gas to Europe through Ukraine has been banned. Ukraine, at war with Russia since February 2022, has made it clear for months that it would not renew or extend the gas transit contract with Moscow, which has left EU countries scrambling for a solution. Martin Andrews reports.
