Israel has killed at least seven Palestinians, including a woman, and wounded more than a dozen others in attacks across Gaza, according to medical sources and witnesses.

On Thursday, Israel bombed Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood and the Al-Tawam and Amer Project areas in Gaza City, the Al-Sudaniya area in the northwest, as well as Al-Mawasi in northwestern Rafah and areas around Bani Suheila and northeastern Khan Younis.

Six of the seven were killed by Israel in various parts of Gaza City.

A medical source told Anadolu Agency that Palestinian Mohammed Rajab Warsh Agha died from wounds sustained in an Israeli attack on a tent sheltering displaced people at the Egyptian Camp in the Al-Tawam area of northwestern Gaza City.

"Two people, a woman and a child, were killed and others were wounded when Israeli aircraft bombed a residential building" in Gaza City, the civil defence said.

Earlier, a medical source at the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s Northern Field Hospital said two Palestinians had been wounded in the strike, one critically.

In another Israeli attack, two Palestinians were killed and three others wounded, one critically, when an Israeli drone struck a civilian vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighbourhood of southern Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu.

The casualties were transferred to Al-Shifa Hospital, according to the source.

Earlier on Thursday, a Palestinian woman was killed and her husband and two children were wounded when Israeli artillery struck their tent in the Amer Project area of northwestern Gaza City.

A medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital identified the woman as Ahlam Mubarak, 30, and said her husband was seriously injured.

Separately, a young Palestinian, Ahmed Khamis Abu Naja, died from wounds sustained in an Israeli air strike on a vehicle in Gaza City about a week ago.

Witnesses also told Anadolu that Israeli naval forces opened fire and launched shells off the Gaza City coast, while artillery fire targeted the Al-Sudaniya area in the northwestern Gaza Strip.

In southern Gaza, seven Palestinians were wounded when Israeli artillery struck a house in the Al-Mawasi area northwest of Rafah, according to medical sources.

Local sources said the Israeli occupational forces also demolished residential buildings and other structures in areas where its forces are deployed northeast of Khan Younis.

Witnesses said Israeli troops dropped smoke bombs near the Bani Suheila roundabout east of Khan Younis, causing several tents sheltering displaced Palestinians to catch fire.

As of Wednesday, Israel had killed 1,467 Palestinians and wounded 5,161 others in its violation of agreed ceasefire, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

Israel has maintained a crippling land, air, and sea blockade on Gaza since 2007 — one of the key reasons behind Hamas raid on Israeli military and civilian facilities on October 7, 2023.

Since then, Israel has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 175,000 in its genocide in Gaza, while around 90 percent of the enclave’s infrastructure has been destroyed, according to Palestinian and UN figures.

Analysts say this is an undercount and the actual death toll could reach around 200,000, as Palestinians continue to recover bodies buried under the rubble of homes while Israeli forces occupy approximately 60 percent of Gaza.

The International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.

Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.

A US-backed ceasefire framework and regional roadmap have largely stalled as political and security negotiations remain deadlocked over disarmament and withdrawal terms while Israel continues to breach the truce almost every day.
