Boeing announced it would cut the production of its 737 aircraft line following the two recent crashes that have seen the 737 MAX grounded worldwide.
"The reason is that Garuda passengers in Indonesia have lost trust and no longer have the confidence" in the plane, Garuda spokesman Ikhsan Rosan said.
The examinations come after investigators found clear similarities between the Ethiopian Airlines and Lion Air Max 8 crashes in March and October respectively.
