Cruelty Free International has published footage that appears to show Vivotecnia lab cutting into animals without having received anaesthetics.
The 70-year-old Sri Lankan elephant was withdrawn from the finale of the annual Temple of the Tooth pageant last month after a social media firestorm erupted against parading the feeble animal.
More than 6,500 people signed an online petition urging her to cancel the performance, claiming the singer was "endorsing animal abuse".
