Two journalists working for TRT World, their local fixer and driver have been released from a Myanmar prison two months after their arrest for flying a drone over parliament.
Three journalists and a driver were working on a documentary in October for Turkey's English-language public broadcaster TRT World when police arrested them, alleging they violated drone-related and import-export laws.
The arrests are the latest sign of withering press freedoms in the country and come a month after a crew of journalists working for TRT World was sentenced to two months in jail for being in possession of an "unlicensed" drone.
The TRT World crew, who were earlier jailed in Myanmar for two months, are to appear in court on Monday, to face even more charges that are related to immigration.
