Six more countries have joined hands to back INSTEX, a mechanism that facilitates trade with Iran while circumventing US sanctions.
It's too early to say whether the attempt in Europe to circumvent US sanctions will protect European-Iranian economic ties, but the US should support it to demonstrate that their beef is with the Iranian government, not its people.
The leading countries of the European Union leading, Germany, France and the UK, have introduced a new special purpose vehicle called INSTEX to bypass US sanctions and save the nuclear agreement with Iran.
The entity, INSTEX, will allow EU companies to trade with Tehran despite US sanctions after President Trump pulled out of 2015 nuclear deal.
