New Zealand's vote at the UN against Israeli settlements has been called a "declaration of war" by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The country is now in Israel's bad books, but it's not the first time, and it probably won't be the last.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recalled Israel's ambassador from Wellington and even threatened economic sanctions against New Zealand after they co-sponsored a UN resolution against illegal Israeli settlements on occupied Palestinian lands.
The comments made to New Zealand's Foreign Minister Murray McCully over a phone call, concerned Friday's UN Security Council's vote calling for an end to Israeli settlement activities.
