Turkey resumed energy exploration earlier this month in the eastern Mediterranean after Greece and Egypt signed a controversial maritime delimitation deal.
The latest NAVTEX includes a warning which read, "it is strongly advised not to enter the field of work."
The US needs to be more transparent in its exercises with Greece to preserve its relationship with Turkey.
