Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said Russian nuclear-capable bombers were necessary for him to monitor the migrant crisis at the border with Poland.
Moscow recently deployed two nuclear-capable bombers in Venezuela, triggering widespread speculation that the country was ready to face any military challenge stemming from the US.
The bombers' deployment follows Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's visit to Moscow last week in a bid to shore up political and economic assistance.
