There have been celebrations on the western edge of the US-Mexico border.

The border is opened annually for just one hour to allow a reunion for families who have been separated.

Families are reunited, and this year a family was formed when a couple were able to get married.

And as separated families came back together, the scenes were emotional.

TRT World's Alasdair Baverstock reports from Tijuana in Mexico.
