Farmers in Mexico's Atenco say "Our lives, our land, not for sale."

A farmers' community in Mexico's Atenco made it clear to the Mexican government that they would oppose the multi-billion dollar plan to build a new international airport.

The centuries-old town of Atenco on the outskirts of Mexico City is set to become the site of the city's new airport.

But people living there are out to stop the process. They've held protests and although more than 20 people have been killed in fighting with police they say they'll continue to demonstrate against it.
