Plane crashes in South Sudan

The South Supreme Airlines plane crashed while trying to land on the runway in the city of Wau in South Sudan.

A plane belonging to a small South Sudanese airline crash-landed at the airport of the northwestern town of Wau on Monday.

Several passengers were injured, but there were no deaths. At least 44 people were on the plane.

"No one died, but there are a number of injured people right now," one of the local aid workers near the scene of the crash said.
