Tanzanian woman recounts harrowing tale of trafficking
Catherine was 18 when she was tricked into leaving her job in Dar es Salaam on a promise of a better one in India. Upon arriving in New Delhi, she was sold into prostitution.

According to the latest Global Slavery Index, more than 40 million people were victims of modern day slavery in 2016.
For Catherine, it all began with big promises but it ended with her almost losing her life.
