World mourns victims of Istanbul terror attacks

The political and football worlds paid tribute to the victims of Saturday's attacks as funeral ceremonies were held on Monday.

The international community has condemned Saturday's twin attacks, for which the PKK-affiliated TAK terrorist organisation claimed responsibility. Thirty-eight police and eight civilans died in the twin bomb attacks in Istanbul's Besiktas district, following a football match. Politicians and footballers from around the world paid tribute to the victims.
