In just two months, flash floods have killed hundreds of people and left close to 200,000 Kenyans homeless. The military has now been mobilised to evacuate those at risk as East African countries brace for heavy rains forecast in May. And environmentalists in Ghana warn that deforestation in some major reserves could contribute to climate change.
