Food shortages and inflation a major concern for voters in Kenya

One of the major campaign issues of Kenya's general election is food shortages. The prices of the most basic items have shot up and thousands of families are finding it hard to feed themselves.

Some 2.7 million Kenyans are struggling with hunger after the country was hit hard by two years of drought.
